How do you refinish a bathtub and tile?
It's a pretty simple process. If we are refinishing a bathtub and it has been refinished before, we will need to strip off the old material. Then, for bathtubs and tile we clean, etch, tape off, prime, and spray on a new coating of an acrylic urethane. The process takes 1-3 hours to complete and it will need to dry for at least 24-30 hours.
How do you clean the newly refinished surface?
A newly refinished surface does not need to be scrubbed so you should use a non-abrasive sponge and Dow Foaming Bubbles. Do not use bleach, acid, or abrasives.
